Couponing

I have been trying to venture into the wide world of Couponing. I have spent a few months gathering coupons, reading great coupon blogs and websites and trying a few little sales here and there. It is such a great feeling when I can come home and have lots of grocerys for super cheep.

A week a half ago, I went to Walgreens and ended up getting some really good deals on stuff. I was able to get a blood glucose meter (which I will donate), 2 big things of laundry detergent, wrapping paper, 4 boxes of Bandaids and some breath mints for $14. When I came home that night, I was so excited about the good deals I got. I wish I had taken a picture of it all, but I didn't.

Today, I went on another couponing trip, this time to Albertsons. Here is what I bought:
3 dozen Large eggs
4 boxes Ritz crackers
1 box family size Triscuts
1 box family size Wheat Things
4 boxes bagelfuls
10 bottles BBQ sauce
10 Kraft Easy Mac Cups
10 boxes Pasta Salad & pasta roni
Before using my prefered card and coupons, I would have spent $101. But with coupons and everything, I only spent $23. Plus I got $3 back to use on my next purchase.
Because of the good deals that I had been getting, I decided that I wanted to make a coupon binder. Thanks to my friends Jenn and Shelley, I was able to make one for really cheap. It is so much easier going grocery shopping now because I have all my coupons nice and organized. If you need some help couponing, there are some great links on the side of my blog.
