We have walls!!

Today, the floor was laid and they started framing the outside walls.

As we were looking at our house and talking, Keagan started jabering and pointing at things. To us it looked like he was telling people what to do and how to do it. So, we took a little video of him doing it. He is our little job foreman.

Keagan's Bear

Keagan's Aunt Vera sent him a teddy bear with balloons when he was born. Because the bear was bigger than Keagan, we took a picture of Keagan next to the bear the day after we brought him home from the hospital. Last week, Keagan rediscovered his bear and has really enjoyed playing with it. On Friday, we decided to take another picture of Keagan with his bear. It amazes me how much he has grown in the past 17 months.

Pumpkin Picking

Yesterday we went to a farm and picked pumpkins. It was the first time for Keagan and I. Keagan wasn't so sure about the pumpkins at first, but he eventually warmed up. We found a little one for Keagan and he just kept pushing it away, but now everytime he sees them on our porch he likes to play with it. They give hayrides so we did that as well.

Our Home

When we got into town on Sunday night, we drove by our lot. The had poured the garage floor, the front step and the back patio. Next step, framming.

One fun weekend

This past weekend was a lot of fun. My youngest brother, Neal, received his eagle and most of the family was able to get together for a fun weekend. We all went to the High School Football game on Friday night (Neal plays on the Varsity team). It was a cold night, but a lot of fun. Keagan looked like he couldn't move. I am not sure if it was because he wasn't sure about the coat, hat & mittens or what.

My little brother has a set of drums (he also plays in the Pep Band, when he isn't playing football) and Keagan loves to play them. Here is a little video of his drumming ability.

On the way home on Sunday, there were a few towns that we went through that had snow on the ground. When we stopped to eat our lunch (we stopped in McGill for those of you that know where it is at), we were going to sit on the grass of the LDS church, but sat on the sidewalk instead because there was snow on the grass.
