Bunk Beds

I have always wanted to get bunk beds for one of the rooms in our house.  With my brother, Neal, moving in with us, I figured this would be the perfect time to get those bunkbeds.  Then, after seeing the wonderful bunk beds that Neal help my brother-in-law, Joe, make, I was sold, we would build bunk beds.  So two days after Neal got here, I put him and Andrew to work.

Cutting the wood.
The happy carpenders (they really didn't want to take this picture, but I made them!)
Painting the bunk beds.
Getting the bunk beds installed.  Why is Andrew laying down on the job?
The finished product installed in the room and the room arranged.  I really love how they turned out.

Keagan's First T-Ball Game

After our Soccer fiasco of two years ago with Keagan (he wouldn't play and would just cry every game, thank goodness it was only 6 weeks and just on Saturday) I have been wanting to find a sport that I thought Keagan would enjoy.  Andrew and I decided to try signing him up for T-Ball.  He has been having team and group practices for the past few weeks and yesterday was his very first game.  I was a little apprehensive of how he would do, but he did wonderful.  I was so proud of him for going out there and doing it.  He seemed to have fun and I think he will continue to enjoy his T-Ball season.  Here are a few pictures of him at his first game.

Just got to First Base.
Waiting on Second.
Running Home.
At Bat.
Keagan even got the chance to play Catcher on their second inning.  He (and all those little kids) look way too cute all dressed in the catcher gear.

Misc.

My little brother, Neal, who just returned from his mission in February, moved in with us while he attends the Lineman's College in Boise. Bauer has quickly become very attached to Neal, he asked for him, almost always chooses to sit with him and runs up to him when he see's him.  It has been so fun to watch, especially since Bauer was born while Neal was on his mission.  Here are a few pictures of the two of them.

Sitting on Neals leg while he is helping Andrew fix the sink.
Sitting with Neal.
This was taken the on Sunday (Neal had gotten here on Saturday afternoon).  We got home from church and Bauer immediately ran up to Neal.  We took him to his to change his clothes, then as soon as he was dressed, he ran right back to Neal and I just couldn't resist taking this picture.
One day last week when I went upstairs to get the boys up from their naps/rest time, Here is how I found Keagan.  Sleeping while sitting up.

On Thursday night, Neal and I took the boys to Keagan's T-ball practice.  I brought the boys' balls with us so they would have something to do and play with while we were there.  I thought that they would kick and throw the balls around.  Instead, they found stick and turned the balls into drums and made some music instead.

How do you read a book?

The three boys sat down on our big blue chair to read a book on Andrew's Kindle.  When they started reading the book, Bauer was sitting down beside them.  Then I noticed that he was looking at the book, hanging on the side of the chair.
Then he sat for a minute with one leg up.
Then he decided to get all the way up.
But then again, a few minutes later, he was back to hanging on the side of the chair again.

Bauer

Last week, I told Keagan and Deker to go upstairs and get dressed.  A little bit later, Bauer came to me holding another pair of pajamas (those are the only clothes he can reach) and looking like this:
I guess he decided that he needed to get dressed, but didn't know what to do at this point.  While I was taking his pictures, he continued to try to finish getting his shirt off.
It looks like my not quite 2 year old is trying to act and do more and more like his older brothers
