Deker turned 5 on Wednesday. With his Birthday being in the middle of the week, it was hard to do very much, but we improvised and he had a wonderful day. Deker woke up Tuesday morning to yellow and blue balloons and a tractor happy birthday banner hung up which he loved.
I then made his number pancake which has become a tradition for our kids and which he asked for.
My cousin, Marianne brought her kids over for lunch and playing in the sprinklers in the back yard. After they left, Deker told me that he loved is family party.
That night, we grilled hotdogs and a local splash part and my cousin Marianne & Tyler and their kids and our good friends Brandon and BarriJo joined us at. The kids all had a great time playing in the water and on the playground and I had a great time visiting with the adults. I am so happy that Deker loved is Birthday.
Here is the the cake. He chose to have a Trackhoe on his cake and Andrew, as always, made it look wonderful.
Here is Deker in all his wet glory coming over for some cake before going back to playing in the water. As you can see, Deker is now at the age where you can't get a decent smile out of him, instead we get this crazy fake smile.

The Very Girly Nursery
As most of you know, I was thrilled to find out that after having three boys I would finally get my little girl. I picked out material and started sewing immediately. I was so excited to see it all come together, that I got the nursery all completed pretty early. I love going in there and looking and it and looking forward to the girl that will be entering our family sometime in July. For those that don't like pink, you might not want to look. It is kind of a pink explosion, but I don't really care I love how it turned out.
The butterfly mobile that is hung from the ceiling was given to me by a friend who knew that we used butterflies on the quilt and curtains.
I LOVE how it turned out. Now we are just waiting for our little girl to join our family.
Recent Happenings
We have had a lot of fun things going on it our lives, here are just a few of the highlights.
The first weekend of June was Keagan's last day of school. I am so proud of him and all the he learned in 1st grade. He loved his teacher and loved school so much and he was a little sad for school to be out for summer.
I might be a bad mom, but I finally let the kids get out their watercolor paints and paint for the first time. Keagan had done some painting at schoool, but I was always afraid of the mess. They LOVED it though and are can't wait to do it again.
We passed Keagan's first bike onto Bauer this Spring when Keagan was given a new to us one from some friends down the street. He didn't want to get on it for a while, but finally gave in and he loves it. We even went on a walk on Sunday and he rode his bike the whole way.
On Sunday, Andrew decided we need a pregnancy picture of me. Here I am 2 days before I turned 35 weeks.
