Keagan and Deker love to play that they are dogs/cats/lions, etc., basically any animal that crawls around. One day a few weeks ago, Keagan and Deker came down the stairs, Keagan was crawling and had a rope around him, Deker was holding the rope and saying "come downstairs doggy, do you want to upstairs now doggie".
Bauer started doing an army-style crawl where he would use his arms to pull him along. He could get on his hands a knees, but then would flop down to crawl. That is until today. He started crawling on his hands and knees. After lunch, Bauer was crawling around and Keagan noticed him and said "Is Bauer crawling like a dog crawls?" I told him he is. Next thing I know, I had all three boys crawling on the floor with Keagan and Deker barking. I hurried and got out the camera and was able to get some pictures of them.
Good Times!

How Many
How many people does it take to put together a kitchen chair?
What you can't see in this picture is Bauer crying because he is sitting in his excercauser. Otherwise, he would have been right there with them putting anything he could reach into his mouth.
St. Patricks Day!
"Those silly Leprechauns". This is what I heard Keagan say quite a few times yesterday and even a few times today when remembering what they did yesterday.
This is the first year that we have done anything for St. Patricks Day. First of all, sometime in the night, some Leprechauns visiting our house. They wrote on the mirror in the kids bathroom, turned the toilet water green, turned over some furniture and dyed the milk green. When Keagan and Deker got up they kept saying "Whaaat? Those silly Leprechauns". It was pretty funny.
We started off the day by having Rainbow waffles. We got the idea for them here on Random Thoughts of a Supermom. Andrew had the idea to add a piece of fried ham with scrambled eggs for the pot of gold.
Keagan and Deker excited about eating their rainbow waffles and their pot of gold.
Bauer excited to eat anything.
For dinner that night, we had the very delicious Chicken Ranch Wraps (recipe found on Smithalicious). To make it more green, I dyed the chicken, ranch, rice mixture green and we had green tortillas. Drank green milk and had green jello (we used lime jello and instead of mixing in the cold water, we mixed in cool whip).

It was a lot of fun to see how excited Keagan was about it all and in turn see Deker excited because he likes to be like his older brother. It sure does make it a lot more fun to celebrate these fun little holidays.

What a Weekend
Who: My mom, all my sisters and sisters-in-law and my niece and Bauer
What: Girls Weekend 2011
When: March 3-6
Where: At the Wiscombe Funeral Home in Davis, California
Why: Because we love to have fun!
This past weekend, Bauer and I flew on an Airplane to Davis, California (just outside Sacramento). My sister, Vera, just purchased a funeral home in Davis, so we all partied it up in the house above it. On Thursday we all arrived in California and our fun times began. On Friday, we took the Amtrak to San Francisco. We walked around, shopped, took a couple of bus tours and ate.
All of us waiting at the Amtrak station in Davis.
On Sunday morning, those who had a long drive back headed home. Vera took the two of us that were still there to a small town called Winters to have a yummy breakfast at a great cafe there. We then went back to her place and relaxed. I think we even slept a little. Then it was time to head to he airport and fly back home.
Bauer was an awesome baby and was very patient and easy going. I missed my family lots, but had a lot of fun with my sisters. I am so grateful to have such a great family. I am also grateful for our friends, Dan & Angela who took Keagan and Deker for two days and loved on them and showed them a great time.

Bauer and I on the Amtrak. He just woke up from a nap.
All of us on on the top of a double decker bus ready for our tour of San Francisco.
Saturday, we went to the Farmers Market and walked around Davis. That afternoon, we had a Baby Shower for my Sister-in-law, Melissa who is having her first girl. We spent the rest of the day talking, laughing and eating. On Sunday morning, those who had a long drive back headed home.
