Doing the Dishes

Andrew and I were doing dishes yesterday (we don't have a dishwasher) and I decided to let Keagan "help" us. We pulled up a chair to the sink and he really enjoyed playing in the water and with the dishes. We ended up taking off his shirt because he was getting pretty wet.

Keagan's New Car

Last Saturday (Aug. 18) Andrew, Keagan and I took a load to the dump (stuff from fixing up our house) and a guy pulled up next to us and had a little kids car in his truck along with other stuff. I wanted to ask him if he was throwing away the car but was too chicken. Before he left, he asked us if we wanted it and said that our kid would love it. He was just going to take it to the DI and that we would be saving him a trip. So of course we said yes. Keagan loves it. We helped him get into the car once and since then he gets in and out like a pro. Usually he opens the door and gets in, but sometimes he likes to try to get in Dukes of Hazzard style.

The beginnings of our new home....

For those of you that don't know, Andrew and I have purchased a lot and are going to have our house built. Here are pictures of our lot. It is just over 1/4 acre (.28 acres). We will be breaking grown around the first part of September. We will post pictures as our home progresses. Our lot goes from the light post to the mailbox and all the way back.
