When I finished the skirt and realized that I had a fair amount of material left, I decided that I would try making the little boys some ties. I am pleased with how everything turned out, especially it being my first time making these things. Keagan, Deker and I wore our new things to church. Here are some pictures we took before we left.

For those of you that are interested, here are the links for the patterns I used. For my skirt I used the tutorial on V & Co. for her Tablecloth Skirt. Although, I didn't have a tablecloth so I just used fabric. For the boys' ties I used the pattern and instructions from The Purl Bee for Little Boys Ties. I did make quite a few changes to the ties I made to make them more kid friendly and I sewed all of it with a machine.

Is he going to be the next Gene Simmons?

On Sunday, my Mom & Dad, all my brothers & sisters and their families gathered in Heber City for a family reunion. Thanks to the generosity of my parents, we were able to stay in a big home all together. We had so much fun talking, visiting, eating yummy foods and trying out some of the fun things to do. That night, we all went for a walk. Here is a picture of our group.
